Four-time winner of the ’Winemaker of the Year’ award, most recently in 2008, and father of five(!), its winemaker is the celebrated Adolfo Hurtado.

Casa del Rio Verde is pure Sauvignon Blanc, handpicked from the Chimbaronga vineyards in the Colchagua Valley. The grapes have to be harvested at night to avoid the heat, then quickly transported to the cellar to retain maximum freshness. A cool fermentation in modern stainless steel vats and an early bottling ensures all that pure aroma and fruit flavour is kept in.
